A stainless-steel submersible pump, from our 180 SX range, has been installed in Lake Como (Lombardy - Italy) in partnership with Servicepump, a nationwide leader in electric pump maintenance and our local distributor.
The Lake Como region is famous for its breathtaking landscape, however the extensive fields of olive trees that used to characterizes the surrounding area are increasingly threatened by emerging issues in water management.
A submersible pump from the SX series has been installed to take water from the lake and use it for irrigation, bringing significant benefits to local crops and the surrounding environment.
Given Lake Como’s water conditions, the choice fell on our 180 SX pump, which, because of its construction materials, ensures performance longevity while respecting the native marine bio-life.
Taking water directly from Lake Como reduces dependence on external water sources, while allowing for lower operating costs and greater autonomy in crop management. Furthermore, the use of local water minimizes the environmental impact associated with water transportation.
